Thank to every member that has answered my questions day and night. Today I decided with my very unexpected financial situation, I surrendered my dear sweet Bob to the humane society. I am so heartbroken. He is in great health, but to continue that he needs to be neutered. My biggest fear was an emergency and not having money, and him suffering. I decided it would be the best since he is young and in great health. I found out he is a Polish breed. I am bawling as I write this, my heart is broken, but I know it was best. When I turned him over they said the were sorry and they understood. The said they could tell how much I love him and how well I took care of him. I gave them all of the many supplies and they were impressed. They said so many come when it’s too late or have them on the wrong diet or cheap hay etc. Someday, when I know everything will be ok, and I am financially secure with a rabbit savings, I plan to give a little guy or girl, hopefully a bonded pair, a happy home.
It was so hard to say goodbye, he took his lovings between his ears and we nosed kissed goodbye.
Goodbye Bob, I love you forever and I did this for the best.
So many laughs, and now tears but hope for your bright future.
Thank you all again. Many hugs!
