Hey, I’m sure that this has been posted very many times and most of you have gone through these.

When I let Peter out of his cage and let him run around upstairs, he always goes under my bed. And I just don’t want him there. It’s clean, but if he drops little poopies I wont be able to get to them and our phone chargers hang on the floor by the bed against the wall. So Tuesday night I let him just run around the living room and I hung out with my mum for a bit outside, but between the two of us, we kept checking up on him and he was fine. But when my brother came home he saw that the house was in it’s “Peter style” as we call it.  And he came outside and asked us where he was and I thought he was kidding, but I went inside and Mr. Peter wasn’t on the couch. I checked everywhere in the living room on the first floor. So my brother went up to take a shower real quick and saw Peter was in his cage. When he told me and I went upstairs I thought, oh good boy! You know where your cage is, you’re a good boy. He didn’t make a mess at all on the couch, so I’m guessing he went upstairs and in his cage to go to the bathroom. Well, then I noticed he took the box of shredded paper I have for him to play with and he had ripped up all of the paper even moer than it already was and threw it all over my room!! Lol, I was so mad, but I just couldn’t stay mad when I was like Peter, what did you do??? And he just looked at me with that “Oh, sorry mum. It was my invisible bunny friend who made me do it!” look. So I locked his cage and he was in there for the rest of the night.

        HERE’S ANOTHER STORY!!!

Last night, I was cleaning out his cage and I had just scrubbed the pan and stuff and I wanted to vacuum to get the rest of the hay out of my carpet that I couldn’t get with my hands. So before I started the vacuum I put him out in the hallway so he wouldn’t be scared. And when I was done, I opened my bedroom door so he could play in my room. But I was smart, so I put boxes and pillows around my bed so he wouldn’t be able to get under there. That must have pissed him off or something because when I got out of the shower I could hear banging and a lot of scratching and I was like what the heck is he doing? So I go in my room and he was literally throwing a temper tantrum! He was like kind of throwing him self at the pillows around my bed and he took his bed, salad I had JUST made for him before my shower, his little log to chew on, and the towel I thought I had tied well on the 2nd level of his cage and threw it out on my carpet. LOL HE must be PMSing or something!

Of course, I think this is all funny, I don’t mind cleaning up after him. It’s cute and funny, but at the same time it’s not. I wanted to take a video. I really couldn’t be mad at him for long. But why did he do this?
And just to think, I was complaining because he had no personality!!! He must’ve read that or something! Haha!

You can’t really punish Peter for playing with the stuff you gave him to play with Tossing paper is fun for them. If you don’t want the mess, don’t give him the paper.

That is so funny! The little boogers can throw a stink when they want to. Pringles used to get mad and carry everything she could pick up up to the top floor of the condo and drop them over the side. At 2 am. Including the noisy baby toys 😉

Lol. I have also noticed that if his water isn’t from the fridge and it isn’t fridge cold, he will try to take it down or something. He rubs his butt against…Lol It’s funny.

Haha. I could probably like build something in my floor around my bed and he would find a way under it. There’s nothing under there, so why does he like it so much?

yea, my bunny loves the bed too…I haven’t tried to block him from it because all he seems to do is sit under there. But you’re right monkeybun, it is SUPER hard to get him out…

If you don’t want bunnies under the bed, I suggest using NIC grids as a fence. Just zip tie them together, and keeps nosy little furballs out of it

I’ll have to try that. We’re all moving in with my brother, mummy and her boyfriend soon…I hope he does okay with the move? I’m sure it causes them a ton of stress. But will the paint be harmful to him? We’re painting our new room this weekend, then we’re moving in in like a week or two, once it is all dried and stuff. My moms boyfriend has chickens, turkeys, guinea hens, pheasants and big cuddly dog with a huge fenced in backyard. He built me a pen the other night so I can let Peter playoutside…but could that be harmful to him with all the animals out there? I’m not letting him associate with Kaya, the dog. The turkeys, pheasants and guniea hens are in a cage in one of the sheds, and the chickens are in their coop, but we let them out sometimes.
Andddd, there’s a wild rabbit under his shed…And she’s a girl. Lol OF COURSE!
but yeah, help please!!! Haha. My new room will be pretty big, so I’m going to let him run around and shut and lock the door so Kaya doesnt’ get in there. Like any other dog, she wouldn’t purposely hurt him, but she was chasing a dumb skunk around last night so I’m sure he would make her nervous and he’d get all bug eyed and scared. My poor baby
