Twice today I have tried to get Olly from under my bed, but I have found out why he does this, my teddy was under the bed and he was loving it and grooming it, I had to move it because it is an old bear and Olly is a chewer and I did not want him getting stuffing and teddy eyes in his tummy, he was very relaxed and calm which is a surprise as he is usually running about climbing on boxes and making a growling sound at the printer, does anyone remember the old toys we used to have they were made of leather or thick plastic and full of straw or hay and were bears or rabbits? (Showing my age now, lol.) Because I think he would like one in his cage, he was separated from another rabbit and this maybe why he is showing this affection to a toy.

Most of us with single bunnies give them stuffed animals. We don’t search out the old fashioned stuffed with sawdust and hay ones (I remember them too.) Anything that is marketed for pets or children under 3yo will be reasonably safe. Just inspect the stuffed animals every now and then to make sure it is still intact.

Porky just licks and humps his stuffed animals, never chews on them.
