  I rearranged Tansy’s house before I brought him home from the vet. So far it it working great and he loves it. I bought the seat at GoodWill. It has a door that is missing, but it makes a perfect hideaway for Tansy. He has chewed on it a little, but I don’t care – it was really cheap. Last night I covered the seat with an old brown towel, because he was going nuts digging on it. It solved the problem and it will be easier to clean now too.
  
  I use that blue bowl on the floor for his fresh greens. It’s cast iron (very heavy), so he can’t tip it over. Before the nueter that soft soccer ball was his best friend. I highly recommend it to everyone! He chased it everywhere. I haven’t put it back in, because I was afraid he might injury himself after the nueter.
  
  Bathroom/food area – cubby hideaway on the right.

  I think Tansy really likes his new seat. So, does he jump up and down from there? I think the door missing is wonderful! He probably likes it that way. Do you keep food and other supplies in the other door? Great idea!

  I like! And he looks sooooo sweet lounging up there. He is still a lil squirt isn’t he. How much does he weigh?
  
  You’ve given me an idea for my bunny area now. My 2 have a set of old drawers they sleep up on top of. I’m thinking now I’ll take out some of the bottom drawer to create a cubicle too. Thanks!
  
  If Tansy becomes a free roamer, you could convert the side with the door into a concealed litterbox if it’s big enough. I’ve seen alot of furniture converted for cats. They jump into a hole at the side and when you come to clean the box, you just pull it out through the door.

  jerseygirl – That’s a great idea! I would like him to be free range someday, but I need to get a gate to keep him off of the tempting tasty carpeting in the living room.
