        Hi

My 6yr old lionhead lost his special lady a month ago. He is bearing up. As part of his TLC program I bought him lots of toys. I bought him replacements of one’s i know he likes and i bought a new one consisting of 3 wicker type balls strung up together. We noticed this toy was routinely in his litter box despite being taken out. On one occasion it was taken out of the litter box and clocked by him. He hopped over and immediately put it back in the litter box. He seemed annoyed. Is this because this is where he likes the toy (?sneaky chew whilst on the loo) or is he sayin this toy is rubbish?

        Your thoughts would be appreciated

I know rabbits are smart but I don’t think they can signify ‘throwing something away’ by leaving it in their litter box haha! They’re not that smart

He just wants it in there.

When they don’t like something they usually ignore it completely.

Sounds like he just wants it there. My Badger likes to play his toys in his water often. No other reason than he wants it there (and he binkies happily when I remove it, then places it back in before binkying around again; its like he is laughing )

Thanks for the replies. I think you’re right. I’ll just leave it alone because if it is moved he’ll shoot you evils and put it back.

Haha! They can be so finicky. My little Bridge Bun, Olivia, was like that with a lot of her toys. Everything had a place and she would get upset if I dare clean and move things around.

He probably just likes playing with it whilst pooping
