I wasn’t going to post, but it got the better of me.
So I’m adopting a 10 wk only flemish giant boy in a week or so. I was originally meant to be taking in him and a sibling, thing things happened and now it’s just going to be him.
I’d planned to see how he went alone until he was old enough to neuter and then find him a friend, but the opportunity to adopt a spayed 10-11 month old Netherland Dwarf female has come up (someone in my area needs to rehome their rabbits ASAP).
I don’t know if it’d be a good idea to take her in at the same time (as in, bring them home at the same time) as I get my Flemish boy? I’m already set up for two young rabbits since that’s what I was expecting, but I don’t know how putting two complete strangers together in a strange place would go? Particularly with the age difference and him being not neutered.
Basically I don’t know if I should just leave things as I’d planned, or take the risk of bonding?
