Almost everyday when I’m getting the pellets (looking for the spoon in the bag and making those crinkly plastic noises) the bunnies get super excited. They’ll jump around then start chasing each other’s tails in a little circle. I don’t think there’s any nipping. Is this just excitement? Maybe trying to see if the other bunny has food in their mouth that they want to steal?

I thought this was a bad thing that leads to fights but they don’t fight. I’ll just drop the pellets down and they start eating happily.

Lot’s of rabbits run in circles in anticipation of pellets, whether there is one, two or more. It could be that they are both just running in circles and they are forming a line instead of doing it independently. Like double the bunnies, double the excitement.
