So I rescued a young abandoned (dumped in the wild) rabbit about 3 years ago. She was about 4 months old when I found her. About 2 years ago she got pregnant (by accident, one of my other young males got to her for 5 seconds) and had 4 babies. She raised them good, had no problems, and then she started to get swollen mammary glands after the kittens were weaned. They were not sore, red, hot or leaking, just swollen (for lack of a better word) and have remained that way. She acts normal, hasn’t lost weight, is active and loves getting pet, she eats and drinks normally and all of her excretions are normal. I just don’t know what it is. Could it be tumors? They aren’t abnormal in shape or getting any bigger. And it is all of her glands, not just a couple. None of my other unspayed does have gone through this. Is it normal for a doe whose had kittens?

Are they droopy and falling away from the body or are they swollen like she got bit by a bug? We aren’t too experienced with pregnant buns and their symptoms they have after birth but I know there are some websites that might be able to better help you. I’ll have to google them or have someone else posts the sites in here.
