Suggestions needed – New Blog Name

So, I’m going to be starting up a new blog – but, I don’t know what to call it! 

My old food blog “SageCat Cuisine” and my personal chef business (of the same name) were dissolved last year. Something about a downward economy. All of the recipes from SageCat Cuisine will be moved to the new blog. However the new blog will not just be about food. I’m thinking it will include posts about:

Nom’s – food, of course

Arty – embroidery, sewing, I’m going to build a hot tub – must blog about that!

Critters – 2 cute little buns named Kay & Winston 

Distractions – movies & books

Here are some words I have considered for the name:

Aspen – “And variable as the shade by the light the quivering Aspen made.” an aspen grove is considered to be one living organism? They connect to each other at the roots. My husbands business is called AspenCloud.

Breeze – To move swiftly and effortlessly, a natural movement.

Ramble – To grow in a unsymmetrical fashion; to take course with many turns, as a stream or path.

Hearth – where you sit ans share; home; fireside, the joy of family and hearth.

Victoria – um, that is my name

you know what you could do that i’ve been thinking about recently?

cooking with rabbit food. for example, how do you prepare dandelion greens for human consumption where they don’t taste “weedy”? i’m interested in recipes that use stuff we feed bunnies, even if just a tiny amount.

Maybe something like “cooking for you & your bunny”.

Blog naming is tough – I tend not to “like” titles with peoples names – but I do like something that Brands you/your blog.

Generally, I try to find some phrase that sums up your online “persona” – SageCats Sage Advice/Thoughts (?) I also like playful titles – word plays. I have a friend whose blog was “Roo the Day” – which I found to be very funny.

For my own blog, the title is not the same as the url – so I crammed two personal “jokes” into one blog – Baleful regards is from an edward gorey drawing that sums up a great deal of my feelings toward 80% of human kind, but the blog title is “I am Doing the Best I can” – which reflects my general feeling of living life as a Mom, a professional working woman, a student, a daughter, a sister…and on and on.

When speaking about the blog, I refer to it as Baleful, just as I refer to True Wife Confessions as TWC.

Blog names are like naming children. You have to feel right about it, as it both lives inside and outside of your physical self.

I definitely like Aspen Hearth. It gives the impression of a home-based, old country place to gather with emphasis on family, friends, our beloved animal companions and fellowship.
