        Hey bunny mummies,

Thought I’d get some input as Sams suddenly taken to not using his litter box as much….! He still goes in there, but has also been leaving LOTS of presents for me on the carpet, sofa etc for the last day or two. I have a few possible theories but would be good to get others opinions.

        1. He’s coming up to 4 months and still unfixed, so could be territorial?
        2. I changed his litter about a week ago, but he was fine from day one using his box with the new litter in.
        3. I removed a few of the toys he never takes an interest in and replaced with a couple of new ones, which he has since been playing with and gnawing on (admittedly he did mark one of those as well).

He’s generally very feisty and doesn’t get bothered by new people, loud noises or changes in environment, e.g. I have moved furniture around before with no noticeable effect on him. Health wise he is eating fine and seems content.

        What do you guys think?

Sounds territorial. You can strengthen litter box training, as you should consistently can until he’s neutered to raise the chances the habit will carry over post neuter or will be picked up quicker post neuter.

At some point before Wick was neutered, I just settled that’d there’s be poops here and there since it’s such an engrained behavior for unfixed rabbits.
