So since my bunny made a nest in her litter box, she doesn’t want to use it anymore as a litter box area. She chose a new place to pee, where I placed the litter box. I tried to make her use her litter box in the old place by closing her in a small space for 2 days with some pee stained paper towels in the box, but it didn’t work, she refuses to use it. The thing is that there is always a lot of mess around the litter box, so her old place was made that it was easy to clean and her new place is in her play area, which is hard to clean and there is no way I can put hay there. I tried switching the box for a different one, changing her set up, but nothing worked. How do I change her litter area back to the old one?

Is she pregnant or having a false pregnancy? So is she spayed? If she’s not spayed she isn’t going to really take to litter training. The best thing you can do is to put a litter box where she pees and poops the most and put some hay in it to encourage her to keep going there.

She is not spayed yet and now that I read about it, she made a nest in her old litter box area, which means she is probably having false pregnancy. Although I see no other symptoms, except for that nest she once made. I didn’t know what to do with it so I threw it away and she didn’t really seem to care. I read it last up to 18 days, maybe after that time she could change back her litter spot, what do you think?

Like I said, until she’s spayed it’s rather unlikely just because she is hormonally driven at this point.
