My one year old holland lop female has been with me for about three months and bonding with my other bunny for about two. After her spay (in August) she obviously changed behavior and became more docile and more friendly, and since then she has really warmed up to me. Since she’s young she has always been a bit mischevious, but its gotten to new levels. She is normally so friendly and so relaxed but now she is none of those things. She has recently started:
        – Digging in her litter (to the point where half of it is all over the pen)
        – Digging/ scratching at the ground in one spot
        – Gnawing / chewing at her litter box and bed
        – Thumping a lot more than usual
        – Not drinking as much water as usual
Other than these new qualities being extremely annoying and frustrating, Im mainly worried because i dont see any of her normal traits, such as lying down on her bed/ hay mat or running up to me whenever i come near her pen. Sorry for the long post i wanted to be thorough, please let me know if anyone has gone through something similar!!
        p. s. she and my other bunny just went to the vet and their all good (teeth and GI tract especially) so i dont think its medical.

It’s great that she (and other bun) have a clean bill of health. I wonder if it’s boredom perhaps? What sort of toys/enrichment does she have? You could try making a dig box for her so hopefully she’ll dig that instead of the litter. My Buttercup likes to occasionally dig through her litter box so I understand the mess it makes haha but a dig box full of sand or something might be worth trying.

Does she get any greens? She could be drinking less because she’s getting enough fluids from veggies. Is she peeing as normal?
