I’m not 100% sure if this post should be here or in the bonding section but here goes.

My 7 month old male mini lop has been a very peaceful non aggressive rabbit from day one and has never bit me before this.

He has been neutered and we are currently mid bonding process. The 2 hutches are next to each other and so far it’s going well.

Over the last few days he keeps growling, lunging and biting me. This morning for example, he was sat in his hutch, I let him know I was there and gave him a little stroke, all fine. I then went to give him a bit of carrot like I do every day before I go to work and he went for me.

And last night i was tidying up his litter tray. He watched me for a few minutes, not bothered, and then all of a sudden went for me.

I was wondering if you guys think this is due to the bonding process? is he extra territorial at this stage with me as well as the new rabbit?

        Thanks for any advice.

Hi! How long ago was he neutered? If it hasn’t been long, it might be a spike in his hormones before they level off.
