I have good news people! Stu Bob is coming home tomorrow! I am so excited to see her and have her with me again, but its also really scary at the same time… She had a bad week last week with the nose (she has a nose tap now that you put the syringe into the hole in her cheek and the liquid comes out of her nose, flushing all the bad stuff out of the bone in her nose) I have to do this twice a day (Sally was doing it every hour but its doing better now). Shes putting on weight apparently and her fur is growing back really well now. She doenst need to wear the jumper anymore, and shes eating critical care as a paste, and loves it! So sally said she is not as concerned anymore, as she is doing better, BUT we still have the problem with the abscess in her cheek. That still needs to be addressed. Because Stu was hving difficulties last week, sally took her off baytril to give her a rest and gave her a herbal remedy / recipe for respiratory problems and it has cleared up her nose a lot.
But all in all, she is ok to come home, and I am so super excited! She gets to come to work with me during the day too so I can keep an eye on her, so I got her a super huge carry crate (I reckon you could fit a great dane in it!) and shes going to be with me
