Hey there everyone!! Sorry its been so long since ive been active. Our lives as usual got busy and I havnt had much time to do much aside from lurking. Abbie has turned 5months old and Rain 7months old, its insane to think how long the girls have been in our lives already. My boys are doing well, Ethan has started Speech, Occupational and Physical therapy and were looking forward to advances in all areas of his life. He has been out of the hospital for 7 months now and it just seems unbelievable that much time has gone by already, were so greatful!!!

 

Anyway, here are the pics of the girls I took today

 

 

 

What color is she?! I thought her coat was dirty so I bathed and blow dryed her and sure enough its the color of her hair!

Good to see you back around ADEE. Beaut pictures. That looks like a moulting pattern on Abbies back. Jersey gets similar look on her orangey patches.  First they’re orange/fawn, then guard hairs show, black tips, eventually fade to whitish colour and rest of hair looks duller.  Get dark line moving down back, hair falls out, back to soft orange, then BEGIN AGAIN!

She is nearly 6mos old… should she be moulting her coat anytime soon?? Rain just did hers not long ago, talk about a friggin MESS!!!!!

Oh my gosh how cute! *swoon* ADEE it’s good to see you post, even if it is once in a while. I agree that the color changing of the fur is from shedding fur. I have a question, and I don’t mean to cause any trouble, just out of total curiosity, I thought you were going to start watermarking your pictures that you post? I tried looking for it but didn’t find any.

oh yeah, it def. looks like a big shed. Mead will get lines like that where you can actually see the fur shedding out. the cutest ones are on her face, right above her nose and they slowly travel upwards…

HB sheds like that too.  Kind of funny.  Ohh I love your buns they are sweet and pretty.  I thought you did watermark your photos   I see do not copy on them.

How do you do that?  Can it be done on photobucket?  HELP I really want to know.

They werent watermarked then when the OP pointed it out i did it right then and there, it can be done through an editing software, i use microsoft digital image suite in the text option there is a “transparency” effect i use that with 80 as the setting. I know its been posted here previously how to do it other ways but thats how i do it.
