my bun has some strange food likes.

        She LOVES rolled oats!

She also likes (in very small amounts) mashed potato, toast, scones and pizza

Dose anyone know if these are ok for her to have?

I have heard that you should never feed potatoes to rabbits… I forget the reason why now but I know they are definitely on the ‘no’ list

I wouldn’t feed any potatoes, bread, meat, cheese, wheat, anything at all like that. Stick to veggies!

she will basically come and take it off your dinner plate if you dont watch her. And she keeps insistinig untill she gets some.

She can insist all she wants, do NOT give her any.

There’s your reason not to give her any. She’ll just come help herself if she develops a taste for these things. And that means Trouble!! My rabbit last night pulled a herbal teabag out of a mug and started eating it. Cheeky bunnies! Mine too love rolled oats. I do give a small amount as a treat but you have to watch for carbs. Have some healthy treats on hand if she’s begging while you are trying to eat. Will your rabbit eat any herbs? They’re good treats. Also rose petals and weeping willow leaves provided both are not chemically treated.

Those foods are absolutely not safe to feed. They cannot properly digest carbohydrates like that… that will lead to excess cecal production (a.k.a. rabbit diarrhea) and all kind of tummy troubles. If she comes begging while you eat, you might want to keep a few pieces of lettuce or parsley by your dinner plate, so you can hand her something safe.

My mini rex would help himself to anything edible if I allowed him to; he has tried to steal scrambled eggs, dog kibble, and other wrong choices.
It’s best not to let your rabbit choose in this matter — she will just have to eat what you decide for her

those are not healthy to feed your bunny.  Once one of my bunnies- my youngest- got into a bag of raw potatoes and ate about a teaspoon or so of raw potato- I had to watch him to see if it made him sick and fortunately it did not.  Neither of our other bunnies ever ventured into the kitchen to get under the counter to the potatos- because Griffin is foolish and fearless we have to keep the potatoes somewhere else now.

My grandma’s sister had given those foods to her bunny and it ended up dying.

Those foods should not be fed to them. Bunnies have a sweet tooth, but you must not feed those types of foods to bunnies.
