Stinkeye!

My Lola has a lot of rabbitude (ask Sarita, her former foster mom) but today I had to keep  taking things away from her, like my purse, my drink, anything I had, she wanted. So she took up a position in front of my desk and this is what I got all afternoon!

Edit: Notice the holes in the blanket. While some bunnies groom objects in front of you to show how much they like you, Lola sat there, not chewing, but savaging the blanket like a dog and spitting the pieces at me. I’m making sure the door to the condo is secure tonight!

Hahah, thats some serious stinkeye!
Charlie savages newspaper, blankets or what ever is close by when he’s giving me the stinkeye – it is very unerving because you just know they’re secretly wishing it was your head they were biting lol.

I’m glad to hear someone else’s bun does that, the savaging. The first time was a bit scary, I had held her on my lap on the couch to groom her. When I let her go she flew off the couch and ran behind the wood stove.

then she kept charging back and leaping on the couch to savage the towel I still was holding, growling and almost spitting like a cat. It was freaky! She put a bunch of holes in that one too.

is she a standard rex? she’s beautiful. i’d love to just scoop her up and cuddle, but i’d probably get stickeye for it…

I’m not sure what she is a mix of, her fur is soft and short like a rex, but she’s got that smudge of black on her eyes and some very light tan spots here and there. Daisy overdoes the grooming trying to get the spots out, he thinks she should be snow white. But she is the softest animal I’ve ever touched.

She’s a lot of fun because she thinks she’s running the show and not afraid of anything. She’s still a curvy lady, but she has lost some weight through her non-stop exploring. I used to have to give her a bunny bum bath every couple of weeks because she couldn’t reach the cecals and would have this big smelling wad stuck to her butt, but she’s able to take care of all that now.

Lola is so funny – she has quite the rabbitude doesn’t she :~)

She is a mini rex I believe.

Oh my she has charactor alright.  Spitting the pieces at you  rofl    The spots her bunny friend tries to lick them off ahahaaa.  Rabbits are crazy.   What a terror.  That look oh gosh.  She has blue eyes too very pretty girl.  She probably feels better with less weight on her too.
