What is with this new carrot obsession? Whenever bun gets a carrot, she grabs it up as fast as possible, then runs off with it while kicking her back feet at me! She only does this with carrots, and she didn’t do it in the past! I have no idea why she does this, it’s funny, but what is with this behavior? It’s a new thing for her. It’s like she’s like muahahahahah alllll mineeeeeeeeeeee!

Who knows! Maybe her prey instinct is sitting in. Silly rabbits.

Funny, both of mine refuse to touch the stuff. Just tried giving them each a piece of carrot tonight thinking maybe it would be different this time. Ummm, no.

LBJ10, my bunny detests carrot. Tried and failed many times. So I gave it up. She enjoys her romaine lettuce, and footflicking with parsley or cilantro in her mouth.

It is hysterical when bunnies take the veggie and footflick. It is like “YUCK, I haz to eat diz???”

They like the baby romaine lettuce mostly. They will eat parsley or cilantro sometimes too. They are coo coo for their bananas (“naners”) though. Oh gosh, they come running for that! No foot flicks though. The only time Wooly does that is when I pick him up out of his cage and set him down on the floor. He takes off with a very firm foot flick. Leopold never does it that I have seen.

My rabbit has strange eating habits.
She’ll eat banana chips but won’t eat bananas. Lol.

Peppy does this too! But only with treats, not with veggies or carrots. I think she might be extra-possessive about treats because we make her work for them, do tricks for them, etc. So by the time she’s got her little bun mouth on the treat, she’s sure as heck not letting us near it again!

Max will run off with carrots or bunny cookies. BUT, he does it to get away from Meadow. We have to give Meadow a treat FIRST, so while she’s munching, we give Max his treat, and then he skips off with it. If we give Max a treat first, Meadow has no issue with grabbing it out of his mouth and claiming it as her own.

                              It’s true. They’re all weird.
