Hi guys! I have messaged about this before and took the advice I was given. I brought thumper to the vet and he got a sanitary shave. I also slowly swapped his food over to a healthier brand for him. He now eats the oxbow pellets and hay along with lettuce and carrots. He also gets the oxbow timothy treats but hasn’t had them recently because we ran out. He keeps on getting poop stuck on his butt and we just don’t know what to do!! There’s no hair for poop to get caught on!! I just want to know what else I can do. We got the poop off pretty well for now except some staining but it just keeps coming back. My mom also wants to know if there’s any soaps she can use to clean the staining from his feet because some poop got stuff. Thank you!!

Have you tried cutting out the veggies to see if they are causing the problem? Some rabbits have a sensitive stomach. It doesn’t hurt the withhold things for awhile to rule them out as a potential cause.

If you’re going to wash his feet, I would suggest using something gentle like castile soap. Keep in mind you may not be able to remove the entire stain. Often times, you just have to wait for the fur to grow out.
