  My boys have been just so darn obsessed with each other lately, so I’m starting sessions this weekend! I’ve got an x-pen set up in the spare room that will be used for neutral territory. I intend on bringing them both in either their litter boxes or their carriers into the area. Fingers crossed for a good first playdate! Only question I have, should I start before or after Bombur’s follow up vet visit tomorrow? I know some bunnies get finicky about the vet scent, but Asriel never seems bothered by the scent when Bombur gets back. To him, it seems like just Bombur is back.

  I would opt for before the vet visit. I think that’s the safest bet because if he is stressed about the visit he might be an a$$ to Asriel

  Are you going to put their litter boxes in the neutral area? Wouldn’t that lead to a possible fight as they now have territory to defend? Swapping litter boxes should reduce the chance but I think the chance is still there. I had a litter box that was only used in the neutral area when I bonded Harley and Thumper.

  I’d remove their litter boxes after they were put in the area. I just don’t ever pick them up. Asriel would have an absolute fit. I’m only going to do a 10 minute session, so I probably won’t use the litter boxes that are out in the general play area. I was thinking I’d have their session during their nightly salad.

  We’re doing the first one tonight around 8, after they’ve eaten. I’d do it while they were eating, but Bombur needs to have his meds squirt onto his greens, so that won’t be happening for another week. Assuming it goes well, there will definitely be pictures!

  I forget I’m on the other side of the world (it’s gone 11pm here) Fingers crossed for lots of pictures!
