Anyone heard of these beig fed to buns? My grocery store carries them and I’m so tempted to try one…Just wanted to see if my bun could eat some too. Thanks.

Hmmmm….I’ve never even thought about it. Most fruit is fine…The only thing I can think of that they can’t have is avacado…Apparently the other name for starfruit is Carambola-so I’m going to take a peek on the no-no lists.

It’s not on any no-no list, and wikipedia says it’s chemically very similar to grapefruit-so I would assume it’s ok to give.

Seems like an exotic and expensive fruit for a bunny :~) I’ve tried these before and they have an interesting texture but not so much flavor. They look beautiful when cut and used as a garnish for desert or salads.

I imagine it would be just fine – since it’s not common you probably wouldn’t find it listed anywhere – it’s too gourmet I guess.

I find them very sour.  I am not good at picking out  the nicely ripe ones that taste good.
