Our bun, Monty, has developed an oddly-squeaky stomach over the last week and a half, or so.

His stomach is still making the normal digestive noises, but every so often there will be a rather loud, almost gassy-sounding squeak. It’s not quite the same as his ‘usual’ gassy sounds, but obviously it could be related. The thing is, he has had a few gassy problems, and they make him feel very poorly, quite quickly. We’ve been hearing these noises for over a week now. He had an ‘off’ patch at the weekend, for probably less than 24 hours, but the problem then seemed to related to his mouth, and it cleared up quickly/before the vet was next open.

He’s eating well, and seems absolutely fine (apart from the day mentioned) but I’m just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what this could be. He has started eating spring greens recently (introduced slowly etc) but the squeaks are happening when he’s not being fed these, too.

It could be anything from gas, eating too fast or a number of things. Just keep and eye out and be vigilant
