Does anyone know if the little boxed alfalfa and clover sprouts that one can buy in the produce sections of most grocery stores are alright to feed buns for snacks? I can imagine the alfalfa has to be given in moderation if so, but what about the clover?

I wondered about the alfalfa too cuz I buy it all the time but never found any info on whether it’s okay or not.

bean sprouts and alfalfa sprouts are OK as greens based on the medirabbit list.  I have offered both to my buns, and they disapproved of them  I am not sure about clover sprouts.

I bought alfalfa sprouts once and Piccolino seemed to like them just fine.

He doesn’ t like mint or rosemary or the curly parsely, but loves the italian parsley (maybe cuz his name is Italian and now he’s all snooty)

Well I washed a few alfalfa sprouts this morning and offered them, but I think he pretty much gave them the thumbs down. We’ll see if Pippi likes them. (Not likely she’ll turn them away, she’ll eat anything!)
Personally, I love them on french bread with cream cheese….YUM!

I love sprouts too, but my rabbits do not so yours are not the only ones that do not care for them. I wonder why that is?
