        My rabbits are weird.

Being all from the same breeder, (except Kibou), I had them on a basic timothy pellet. However, about 2 months ago every single rabbit (all 4) stopped eating the timothy pellet. And I mean, on the same day. They all were like, ‘pff, cheap-a$$ food, screw that!’ So I offered them Martin Rabbit Pellets, which they had refused in the past…and now, gobble gobble!

        *rolls eyes*

SO…they have been eating the Martin’s for the last few months.

Now, yesterday Smile decided Martin’s wasn’t doing it for her anymore. She stopped eating it. But she was still eating treats, lettuce and carrots when offered. I looked at Smile and said, “You’re a wanker.” And offered her the old, “cheap” timothy pellet…. which she ATE!!!!

So, what in the blippity blop is up with this sudden “ew” on the yummy food to “yum” on the good food and then ew and them yum……….

i would stick with one, preferably the healthier one.  they may go thru spurts where they’re not going to eat it, but it probably won’t last longer than a day or two, and as long as they’re still eating veggeis and hay, and their poops are fine, i’d keep with it.  maybe mix in the rest of the old stuff with the new stuff til it’s gone for Smile, and then just resume using what you were.  the last thing you need is for them to get sick.

lol.  picky lil things!  i say as long as they are getting their reg veg & plenty of hay then just stick it out with whatever is the best pellet.  if they go on strike, then at least they’re still getting sustenance from the hay & veg, and unless it goes on for a few days i don’t think you’d have to worry.
