OK, let’s see if I did this right. I have uploaded a movie I made of several of the videos I took of Spockie in 2005. These are the only videos I have of him and I am, ahem, not exactly Cecil B. DeMille. (I’m ready for my closeup Mr. DeMille
). I hope you all don’t get seasick. I had tried to link a silent video that was incorporated here, but now that I am no longer stuck with dial-up, I was able to upload this.And now, without further ado, presenting – Himself.

The music is J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos (track #8 on my DVD-but I never remember what they’re called. Maybe Allegro something.)I took these in the first place in order to capture him running with my slipper on DVD so I’d always have it. He was very young when I first got the ballet style slippers and he picked one up and started running with it. It cracked me up, and I would say “Yea!” and applaude him. That was all he needed. He would run in circles, then around my legs while I stood still. Then I would stand wide apart and he did figure 8’s around and through both legs. When he was about 4 I counted one day, and after he circled me 21 times without dropping it I stopped counting! Here I had bought a disposable camcorder from CVS and filmed him. (Great gadget – never saw it before or since.)
It was his favorite toy. Practically his only toy. He rejected every store bought toy I brought home. Just wanted these slippers. I think I went through 6 pairs. I bought them just for him and wore something else. Between those and the licking, I decided he had a foot fetish. His energy was why I can’t imagine him sitting on my lap for more than a few minutes. I do miss him daily & have his pix propped next to my computer.
But I must tell you all how much your bunnies have made me happy and feel better. I know them by name, watch their progress and adventures, and laugh a lot!
It’s also great for me to think this is a place where I can share my beautiful boy with people who understand how loveable he was. I definitely have a goal of getting another furbaby in my life before the year is out. They still say they want me full time on this job starting in October, so wish me luck (and maybe a human Angel to donate big bucks to add to their budget so they can do it!)
