  Pringles is going in for her spay tomorrow and now I’m getting nervous. I’ve been going back through the forums here reading post-surgery topics and had a question.
  
  Pringles and Daisy share a 4 story condo. I was planning on blocking off the top floor for Pringles to recouperate in, should Daisy be up there with her?
  
  They were bonding well, and I kinda messed things up bringing the foster bunny home. (possibly un neutered male) The cats managed to open the bedroom door and once Pringles found the cage, it was love, or lust at first sight. I couldn’t get her away, they would sit pressed so tight against the bars they were grooming each other easily thru the bars.
  
  When I did get Pringles out, she went back to the condo, Daisy took one sniff and bit her in the rump, and chased her down to a lower level. This is the same Daisy who has been so passive and shy, it’s always been whatever Pringles wanted was fine by her.
  
  I know Pringles will change after the spay, but right now it’s like Desparate Housewives around the house. Daisy either sits watching for Pringles to return home or treats her in a very huffy "I don’t want YOUR company" manner. I guess my arranged marriage isn’t turning out so good.

  It sounds like they’ve been having some issues lately. All of Pringles hormones along with the un-neutered boy aren’t helping. Besides the one incident after the cats have there been any sign of aggression at all?
  
  The issue with separating them (even for the spay itself) is that it can entirely undo the bonding process. When one bunny of a bonded pair goes in for a spay (or even an appointment) it’s generally best to bring both for moral support. If Pringles comes home smelling like a stinky hospital it may be that Daisy gets upset or mad again. In fact going through this experience together – without the cats or other boy bunny around might help strengthen their bond.
  
  BUT, if you think there is any chance that Daisy will get aggressive with Pringles, then I wouldn’t bring them both to the appointment or housing together after the spay. If aggression is not an issue, I would recommend keeping them together through the whole process.
