        Hey guys, I just saw Baby, one of Sophie’s babies, with a rainy eye. It’s more wet than normal and when I pet her she closes that eye completely, and leaves the other one totally open. Also, she never stays that long for petting, she’s extremely active. MAybe something got in her eye? Or a bit of hay poked her in the eye? I don’t know…what do you guys think? If it’s still like this tomorrow I’m gonna make an appointment with the vet.

          I feel so bad, she’s eating hay now with one eye open and one eye closed she’s still acting really normal minus the eye…

          I need healing vibes for Baby please…

            Oh noes! Might want to take her to the vet, Monkey’s eye were like that and she ended up having an ulcer in her eye, which can’t heal on its own without treatment.

              Our horse poked his eye with hay before, he needed some gel medication to be put on daily and then he was fine. If it isn’t looking well soon I would take her to see a vet. (((healing vibes)))

                You can take a warm wet cloth and gently clean around the eye, may be soothing-they do like eye grooming. And the vet is a good idea anyways. Even if it’s just poked with hay there could be an oppurtunistic infection after that-so it’s a good idea to take her in anyways. {{VIBES}}

                        Thanks for the vibes guys! I think they helped! Baby is feeling much better, she still closes her eye a little but it’s not that bad.

                        I called the vet today and he told me to wait until tomorrow, and if her eye is still like this to take her and he will give me eye drops for her so she feels much better

                                Poor Baby.
                                Runny bunny eyes is very common, with some common causes (like a blocked duct) and simple treatments when you catch it soon.
                                You might not need the vet visit, but it could be a good thing in the long run. Once I had an ointment in the house, I knew what to do for Spockie when it flared up again.

                                  Thanks guys!

                                  Baby’s eye is 100% since yesterday night! so I don’t think I need to take her to the vet BUT if it happens again I’m definitely taking her. So happy she’s fine ^_^
