Stormy’s poops have been getting gradually darker over the last few days and today they are black. Usually I notice the poo colour changes a bit depending on the hay colour but Bindi is pooping still light brown. Are dark poos a reason for concern? He is fine otherwise and still pooping about a zillion times.

Man, non bunny peeps must think we’re freaks, always talking about poop!! Lol…

One thing that my vet mentioned when connor was having poop problems is an ulcer. If they continue to be black I might get him checked out to make sure he doesn’t have a bleeding ulcer. I know it is not common in rabbits but it does happen.

Are they getting smaller and harder looking?  Has he had any diet changes?  The fact that he’s still pooping alot is a good sign.

well i find it can be directly related to what the bunny is eating. if he’s producing a lot of poops that are normal shaped and he’s eating well, then my guess is he’s likely just fine.
