they had to be seperated because they are a boy and a girl.. contrary to what the petstore told us. but anyway, here are some pics

Chewy (the black.white) is very much the friendlier of the 2 and quickly becoming a favorite, he comes when called and gives bunny kisses ect..

madison hasnt really gotten used to us, she will sit in ur lap if u put her there, but she runs away when u try to pet her and takes a really long time to come over when u have food. she has blue eyes and shes all white and just the cutest thing, although shes MUCH bigger than chewy  and wed love to get her to be a bit more social (we put the collar on just for her photo shoot)

Cute bunnies! ^^ May I humbly suggest however, that you switch from using cat litter to something more bunny friendly? The dust from clay litters goes up their noses and can cause breathing problems.
I’m surprised that you were able to get the collar on the bun. Mine just barely allows me to pick him up and I’ve had him for almost a year. I want to get him used to a harness and leash someday, but I kind of doubt it will happen.

Good.  Cat litter is extremely toxic to rabbits.  Also, you really need to not use collars on your rabbits.  They could really hurt themselves.  I have heard just horrible stories that I won’t repeat here.  There is no reason a rabbit would need a collar.  Your buns are adorable.

oh my goodness… they’re soooo cute     maybe madison needs some indirect attention to warm upto you?  a lot of people -myself included- seem to have had success with spending time near bun on the floor while reading or something.  basically do anything that’s not paying attention to bun but that you can do on the floor near them, so bun can come upto you & sniff.

also, i look up both of their breeds and it sais Madison will grow to be from 10-11 pounds (new zealand white) and Chewy will just be 4 1/2 to 5
do u think they can still be friends?
and does any1 have a bunny that weighs 11 pounds, id like to c what it looks like

oo lots of bonded buns aren’t the same size, in fact it’s pretty common what super adorable bunnies!!!

glad to hear you’ve switched litters and aren’t using the collar either. hmm – with shy bunnies i like babybunsmum like to lay on the floor. It’s also possible that Madison will warm up to you once she’s bonded with Chewy. Our very shy Pandora has become much more outgoing since she’s bonded with Viktor – I think he’s really help bring out her silly side. Also hand feeding her veggies may help win over her heart.

If I lay on the floor and read – my buns will come over and play around me, give me bunny head buts and sometimes bite my book or magazine. Kind of like “I can’t believe you are ignoring us when we are soooo cute!”

Size has nothing to do with weather bunny’s are friends or not. There is no reason a Dutch and New Zealand can’t get along.

Did you know that New Zealand’s are major lap bunny’s?

They are both adorable. And yes, the two breeds can get along regardless of size, but once they’ve become adults they may need to go through a bonding process… Ones the little bunny hormones kick in, it’s a whole new situation.
