Hello has anyone fed their rabbits soft food diets before and can tell me what they fed them?  My rabbit is still eating but at the moment she has bad hiccups and it freaks my mom out to see her chomping on her crunchy pellets fearing she might choke on it.  I figure if she has some softer food she’ll have less of a chance of choking on it…

I have left a message with her vet about the hiccups and he should call me back when he gets out of surgery.  Hopefully we can stop them… it is quite strange!

Well the hiccups should go away in a bit…   Laith had hiccups several different times…  after a while I realized that was normal for him

about soft foods  I have heard people making pellet slurries by mixing with a bit of water and stirring… If you Inkblot doesn’t finish them I would throw them out in a bit so it doesn’t go bad and he eats it that way.

some people have fed babyfood preferably pumpin without the sugar  but I doubt you need to go that far with your baby.. usually this is if they are sick and not eating good.

          what did the vet say?

I doubt it would be necessary to fed soft foods unless the vet says so.
