sooooo…..
I have my bunny Milo in his ex-pen and then I have my other one Odie in a large bunny cage. I keep the two of their cages nearby each other in the same room. Odie in the past two weeks has figured out how to open the door to his cage, which is fine because they are in a bunny proof room. Well, tonight I came home from the store and running errands. I probably have not checked on them in about 4 hours. When I went to say hi, Odie had made his way into Milo’s pen…. I have no idea how other than jumping on top of his cage and then making the HUGE leap into his pen… so he must have really wanted to get in there. Also, he usually only tries to get out of his cage right after I leave the room because he is trying to follow me. So I am guessing he has probably been in there for at least an hour… probably four…
so my concern is, Odie is not neutered, but his testicles have descended and he is chinning things all the time. Milo got neutered over a month ago. Neither have tried to hump each other. When I found them, there was no fur puled out anywhere in the pen. I was curious so I watched them and they were grooming each other. Should I separate them? It seems like Odie went through a lot of trouble to get into Milo’s pen… I’m just confused… haha
Their cages have been nearby/next to each other for about a month…
bottom line, I’m confused…
