I’ve only seen Toby (previously Eeyore) loaf a handful of times, and flop 4 or 5 times (she’ll flop, get up, then flop again). In the month that I’ve had her, most of the time she’ll be in a half loaf, or a long loaf. I like to call them baguettes. Sometimes, her feet will be out, others, they’ll be tucked in.

Does anyone else’s bun do this?

Oh yeah, all mine do all of the above, especially George. Toby’s just trying to find the most comfortable position, it’s all fine. All my bunnies have preferred ways of relaxing, whether it be laying out all the way, flopping, loafing (I call them bun-loafs and my family thinks I’m ridiculous). It’s all fine and normal, it means she’s relaxed.

Both Panda and Fernando, particularly the former, have been stretching out full-length “baguette” style more lately, which I take as a good indicator of increasing contentment and relaxation. They also bunloaf quite a lot, in fact, I can see Fernando bunloafing on the upper deck of their condo right now (Panda’s probably in the litterbox nomming hay).
