I feel like i’ve really bonded with Boston tonight. I stayed in on a Friday night to “work on” my Senior Seminar paper and ended up on the floor with Boston just watching her play. She layed down so I petter her (stroked her jawline and rubbed between her eyes) till she fell asleep. It was so adorable! Later I had her on my lap and almost put her to sleep again. This is odd behavior for Boston to allow all this cuddly-ness…..needless to say, my boyfriend isn’t very happen cuz she just bites him all the time and he doesn’t seem to get much ‘bunny love’! Oh yeah….and that paper? not getting very far….

How wonderful! The more that Boston is exposed to this bonding time, I bet she’ll be become nicer all around. It was worth paper procrastination.

way to go and can you lie on the floor and do this? Boston can join  you and hopefully not put his teeth marks on you paper hahaa. however you do it great for you and Boston bun. weird thing is my buns get so attached to me only that anyone else handles them they bite. hubby hasn’t been bit cuz he never tried to pick cotton up. and Itty Bitty Feda doesnt’ bite him she is young and is used to him but anyone else oh my. she tastes their finger and they get scared of her lol. she tasted mine too other day but was ok. a little bite won’t hurt me. no bruise or blood drawn was gentle. sorry am rambling great work you and boston cool.

once you bond with your bun it’s all over. i know sometimes it take awhile to really get the feel of affection, b/c while they are cute, they are a lot of work. but once you realize what a wonderful creature they are… there’s nothing in the world you wouldn’t do for them. Boston is a beautiful bun. my bun is jealous of my son, maybe she is jealous of your boyfriend. encourage him to sit on the floor and not touch her, just let her come up to him. also if he gives her treats, that might work. my husband gives Mead treats (and i *think* he gives her more than she is s’posed to have when i’m not around) and she always comes running when he walks in the room.

isn’t it great to have a bonding session with your bun bun like that?  i’ve procrastinated many a task to do the same with little (or no) regret

I’ve tried to do my homework on the floor before…studying for a test and Boston just wanted to eat my books…took a few good chunks out of the side….hmm, do you think ‘the rabbit ate my homework’ would work!? I know I should’ve waited till this semester is over to get a pet, it does kinda hinder my homework on a regular basis, but I can’t imagine not have gotten Boston!

i actually think that’s one of the perfect things about buns. you can get some of the same playful interaction as with a dog, without needing to do the outside walking a few times a day.

Been gone all weekend so my boyfriend’s been taking care of Boston. He calls to tell me that he’s been getting bunny kisses all day! WHAT? I was so mad!

so when I got home tonight i laid on the floor for like half an hour and finally Boston came and licked the crap out of my nose….thats better!
