My new bun has started doing something strange. Hes a holland lop and hes been snorting or grunting. Either way he making a strange noise. I am semi concerned just because I know some animal with the flat faces have a tendency so have breathing problems. He doesnt seem to be in distress. He just hops around and makes the quiet grunting noises. Also, Im not sure if this might be related but hes also started humping me!

          Welcome to BB sbuskirk!

How old is your little guy and is he neutered? If he’s not neutered the grunting and humping is normal behavior for a bunny going through puberty.

Yes, that coupled with the humping does sound like normal hormonal behavior coming on. It should stop (or greatly decrease) once he is neutered.

Now, if it was snorting or other nasal sounds along with nasal discharge, I would be concerned about an infection.
