When Lily has a snooze near by, I always hear this super light wheezing coming from her nose. It’s not an unusual behavior for her, ever since I had gotten her she has done that. The wheezing never happens in any other moments BUT when she is asleep. She “snores” especially after a long playtime with tons and tons of binkies. I always examin her nose, whether or not there is anything blocking the nostrils, but there never is! Maybe she’s dreaming? Sometimes I catch her chewing in her sleep, especially when her pellets are near! I don’t think it’s too big of an issue, because she seems perfectly healthy although she will have her wellness checkup in about 3 weeks to make sure. Just wanted to know if any other buns share the same behavior!

I wouldn’t worry about it if the noise is only present when shes sleeps. My Bindi snores sometimes and does the chewing motion in his sleep too.

I assume when Bindi`s chewing he`s dreaming he`s in the land of bananas.

It could have something to do with smooshed faces. Like dogs with smooshed faces often snore because of the way their palate is. Hollands have the dwarfism gene, so they have smooshed faces.

The land of bananas sounds like a paradise for Lily too! And, that’s an excellent statement. Never thought of that, thanks for the info!
