Hello, I have an angora rabbit who HATES razors, trimmers, anything with a noise. I keep her top coat maintained and trip and small knots normally and just give her a horrible botched haircut when it gets too long and she is fine. I was trimming her stomach and I got too close to her armpit area and snipped some skin off. It did not bleed and I could see more skin and veins underneath. She didn’t flinch or make a sound but I’m worried that I’m going to cause an infection. Does anyone have tips? It’s not a big area maybe a centimeter at most and I wouldn’t even say it’s quite that. Her hair covers it up but I just worry and feel so horrible. She accepted treats right away and went back to lay with my other rabbit like normal.

I’d just keep it clean and put a little Neosporin on it, if you think she won’t lick it off.

I had a Persian with skin like tissue paper.  Nicked her quite a few times.  One time it was pretty big and I used super glue, but no idea if that is safe for a rabbit.
