Hello everyone, i have a 3,5 month old bunny and he has been sneezing for the past 2 months. As soon as he started i went to the vet and she gave me a medication with drops that i would have to apply to his nose twice a day for 5 days. Once that didnt work my vet gave an antibiotics medication that i gave him again twice a day for 14 days this time and again he didnt stop sneezing. After that we left him without antibiotics and my vet told me to look for uri symptoms like runny nose or white fluid in his nose or eyses, tilting head etc. I check him daily and there arent any symptoms. The only thing that i noticed is eye gum at the bottom of his eyes(very small amount) which looks exactly like human eye gum and my vet told me to not be worried about it. Ive also noticed that normaly he sneezes once and then he is fine but when he drinks water he sneezes 1-6 times in a row. I also changed the pellet to a more ecological brand but that didnt help either. However 2 weeks ago there were 3 consecutive days that he didnt sneeze at all and at that period of time i had changed his hay (oxbow blue) but after digestion problems with the new hay i decided to change back to the old one (oxbow red) and sneezing started all over again. Im really worried since everything that ive done doesnt work and watching him sneeze makes me anxious.

You said he stopped sneezing when you tried a different hay? I’m not sure what the blue label is, but I know red is Timothy. Can you try orchard or oat? Those tend to be less dusty.

Blue is orchard i think, i started yesterday to give him just alittle bit in order to get used to it. It ll take 4-5 days until i completely change it but we’ll see, good thing is that he hasnt shown yet any sign of digestion issues.
