Hareiette is a bunny mastermind!  In addition to being a bunny princess, she often plots evil schemes.

Last night I was laying on the floor with her and offered her a papaya tablet from the little container. She sticks her nose in to help herself and then she tugs on the side HARD, trying to to steal it!

i closed the top and put the sealed container on her  red carpet. She starts biting at the sides and when that doesn’t work she knocks it over.  She then proceeds to push it with her nose off of the carpet and into a williams-sonoma paper bag!

So was she shopping or trying to hide the treats from the Viktor and Pandora? We’ll never know!

I’m giggling – because Hareiette is laying down giving her most impressive disapproving bunny pout while Pandora is quite happy using the litterbox next to Hareiette’s house.  Enduring those heathens is no easy thing for a princess like Hareiette.

hareiette does not approve of Viktor and Pandy snuggling (pardon the poopy border war going on and the fact that i didn’t get the red eye yet)

they all agree this cardboard is pretty good though

HAHAHA!!! Rucy and Jack do the exact same thing as with the papaya tablets bottle. Also, poopwars along the edges I think will always happen. The thing is they may lay “seemingly” contently near each other, but really…it’s just an evil eye in disguise.

          Your bunnies are so funny.

LOL, Shadow the Prince of Pandemonium will take the papaya bottle, roll it, tilt it and bite the top to get at them. Not to mention the poop wars that go on around the cats scratching board. One cat will perch on it like a vulture, the other one will lay on it and overflow the sides and Shadow circles the entire area with bunny poos. He cranks them out like a machine gun.

You can cut the bunitude and catitude with a knife.

My Maryann has learned the physics of fulcrums. Everyso often, I will give her a nibble of a non-bunny treat (such as a Ritz cracker or a cookie). She has learned the exact pressure and angle required to snap that thing off at my fingers, stealing away with almost 90% of the treasure. Of course, I have to chase her down and take the extra away – don’t want too much to upset her bunny stomach – and then it’s the ol’ stink-eye to me.

I actually have to double enclose the treat box so that Frankie has to really work to get into it.

He’s also figured out how to open the hinged lids on the cannisters I keep the pellets in for him and the piggy.

I tell you he’s too smart for his own good.

                    I feel you!

Now I find I can’t turn my back on Shadow at all. In the mornings I let him have the run of one room before I go to work. I can’t chase him all through the house and get ready for work. The doorway is blocked by a 3 foot baby gate. The cats can jump over it, so when I heard a bang and thump, I just assumed it was the cats.

Imagine my surprise when I walked past the hutch and there was Shadow, in the fruit bowl working his way through a banana, peel and all! The gate was still in place. He can jump but I cannot conceive of him clearing that hight. He may have climbed the wires but, I can’t quite picture that either. He has not attempted to repeat the escape, but any thought I had of leaving him out in the room while we are away has been put on hold. I have an old cranky dog that for the most part ignores him, but gets snappish when Shadow gets to invasive with his attention

I believe he thinks his name is actually Shadow down! or Shadow no!

hahaha, you’d be amazed at what heights a bunny can jump when tempted with a full banana….
