I noticed recently that someone….either Gracie or Archie since they share a litter box….has had smellier poos than normal.  I just cleaned their litter yesterday and there’s not to much poo in it and my husband could smell it from the couch just outside their room.  We haven’t really fed them anything differently except cilantro but they’ve had that before.  It smells like when they have territorial poops (they usually smell a lot more).  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Well, I think it is because of them neighboring to Sandy’s condo. You may get that scented kind off and on.

Hmm I guess that makes sense, I just didn’t think it had to do with her since they’ve been next to each other for awhile.

If the smelly poos went away, I think they were cecals that hadn’t been eaten yet.
Any more today? You could skip the cilantro for a few days and see if it clears up.

Still smells, almost like we have to clean out their litter (but we don’t). Don’t see any cecals. We’re almost out of cilantro, should be gone by tomorrow. Want to get rid of it before it goes bad. I’ll let you know if it still smells by next week.

The only time I’ve ever had this was when they were cecals that had not been “dined upon” yet… they are super stinky for awhile and then all of a sudden the poops are gone, as well as the smell. I’m also wondering if it isn’t just b/c Sandy is right there…
