my rabbit was spayed yesterday and at first her poop was small, soft, and a little runny, now since around 4pm she isnt pooping very much, she has pooped about 15-20 pieces since then. it’s 3am now. her poop is very small, it’s about half the size of her normal poop (some were even smaller when it started but it seems to have gotten a little bigger since then) it’s also dry and tear shaped.

i read that it can mean she’s dehydrated, she has been drinking water on her own but not much so i’ve started syringe feeding her water.

she still isnt eating much on her own, i’ve been giving her mashed pellets every 2 or 3 hours but sometimes she refuses it. she has eaten some lettuce, grass, and about 10 pieces of hay today but only if i hand it to her. i did hear her stomach make a noise earlier today but i havent heard anything since.

You can expect to see weirdly shaped poop for a while now because she hasnt been eating much. It’s good that she’s drinking and eating some things.
