So Chess has been getting little red scabs on the corner of her eyes for a little while, but not very often. Maybe once or twice a year. After last time, I thought this was on me so I made a point to not touch her eyes, but she has another one. I’ve seen a post similar to this one and the person didn’t take the bunny to the vet and it was fine. Is there any known cause/way to prevent these scabs?

(FYI I moved your post to the Q&A section so it would get more attention)

Hmmm, the area does look a little irritated, but not too bad. Does it look like it could just be eye gunk? Or does it seem like an actual scab with blood? If the former, you could try applying a warm compress. I wonder if her hay is extra dusty and it’s causing some irritation? If it seems like it could be blood or it starts getting more red then I think it would be good to have a vet take a look.

Yeah, it kind of looks like dirty eye gunk like she had dust in her eye.
