Hello everyone! So happy to finally be able to post again!

About a month ago i discovered a small bump on Bunny’s arm right by his elbow. I immediately scheduled an appointment with a rabbit savvy vet found on aemv.org. (I recently moved to a different state so had to switch vets 😥 ) I was so nervous about taking him to a new vet and not being able to go in with him due to covid restrictions 😕 Anyhoo, the vet told me she tried to drain it and nothing came out.. she said it seems to be a clogged hair follicle? Anyone have any experience with something like this? I’ve attached a picture for reference.

Hello, welcome back.  It doesnt look too irritated. Does he react when you touch it?

A few of my bunnies have had little lumps that have never changed. With one, the vet said it was old scar tissue.

This probably isnt anything to be worried about now that you’ve had it checked out. Just something to keep an eye on for changes.

Oh, that’s weird. It’s hard to know what it is exactly. It seems too flat to be a papilloma. A “pimple” or clogged hair follicle might explain it. As Jersey said, it’s likely harmless. I’d only be worried if it changes or grows.

Nope, no reactions to it being touched. I guess I’m just a little paranoid due to not really knowing the new vet. 😳 Thank you for your responses!
