  Jersey is having her first sleepover tonight at my sisters place. (aka trial separation experience for her human) I’m hoping to get away for several days during the coming week and we thought we’d set up her area at their place and see how it goes. How she goes. How I go!

  Why is there a need for separation jerseygirl? Is your sis going to be babysitting Jersey any time soon?

  I’m going interstate for a few days and though I’d prefer to have her with me, I really don’t want to put her through an 8 hr car trip. So she’ll be bunsat at their place. The trial tonight is to check out how she’ll go being in an x pen as opposed to her usual free range. A trial while I’m still about the place. I’ve been away overnight before but not for longer so I’m finding it a challenge to go and be assured she’ll be ok. I’ll miss her and I’m only going away for maybe 3 days! lol !

  You’re braver than me, girl. 0_o I have a hard time doing without my bunnies for the three or four hours it takes for us to go to town and do all the shopping! Sounds like she going to have a great setup though. But will YOU be able to relax??
  
  The hubby claims he wants us to take a big family trip next summer too and I have no one to bun sit. I don’t know what he expects me to do with them while we’re gone! (Although he has mentioned he’d make it so we could take them with us, but I just can’t see traveling with three bunnies!)

  Well not til Summer so at least you’ll have some time to nut that one out MM – it’s hard!
  I will be ringing for reports and I’m aiming to write a care bible before I depart. I’ll be seeing my Gorgeous almost 1yr old nephew so that’ll be a good distraction! Other concern is: – How will I cope not being able to access BB?! lol

  Jerseygirl, I admire your courage! I would have a similar panic attack leaving my bunnies with anyone except my bf. I guess we’re all so obsessed & attached to our babies!
  A care bible is a good idea & regular reports are important, otherwise you will go crazy, but I’m positive Jersey will be fine
