        Hello everybun,

        this is Pancake

My little bun stayed with a family member and got fly eggs (not the scary ones) on the back of his neck. I took him back, shaved the spot on the back of his neck, removed all I could see and checked him all over for any more. I watched him closely for about 3 more days and he’s been him happy self. However, this morning I checked his neck where the fur is growing back and I noticed a lot of skin flakes.

I can’t imagine he picked up fur mites because no other rabbit he was around has mites, also he was always about 1m away from the other bun. It’s not fly eggs either because it’s simple to spit the difference in colour and consistency, as well as the environment he’s moved into and very clean.

        What do you guys think?

It could be dry skin from having the area shaved. However, there is no harm in treating with Revolution just to be sure.

PSA: Do not use anything containing fipronil on rabbits. It’s toxic to them.
