        Hello everyone, it’s me again!

Recently i’ve posted that my 1 year old bunny, Misso, had a little fur loss. Fortunately, it’s all growing up again, but i’ve noticed a black spot on her skin where the fur is growing back.

I’ve read some topics here in Binky Bunny with similar cases and apparently it’s normal to happen when bunnies are molting and a patch of fur is growing back in a different color.

I’ve took these two pictures, first one on Wednesday and the second one yesterday, is it normal? Has it ever happened with you guys?

I’ve contacted my vet and he said since it’s not crusty, flaky, scabbing and she’s not feeling pain when touching the spot, there’s nothing to be concerned about.

Besides, she’s eating, pooping and acting normally, her weight is good too (1.810 kg).

I’ll pin the photos to show better.

        Thank you again!

This is how it looks in buns who have banded hairs, ie hairs that dont have the same color all the way. The dark color of the growing hair will be at the tip of the new hairs. It can sometimes look even more dramatic than this.

Thank you for helping me again!

I feel relieved that the dark spots are from a natural process, unfortunately i’ve noticed that the tip of her left ear is scabbing :^( i’ve talked with the veterinarian and i hope it’s nothing to worry.
