i wanted to share this funny story b/c Meadow is so good and hardly ever does anything bad or funny.  she’s no terrorist, but i got a chuckle out of this.

i got my new BinkyBunny package in the other day and i ordered the willow twigs as well as some other willow stuff (Meadow loves willow!)  first off, these twigs are huge!!!  each one is on average about 8 inches long… and thick!  it’s gonna take Meadow a year to chew thru all of those… or a week…

anyway, i keep her new toys in a cardboard box on the lower shelf of my desk.  they get rationed out to her bit by bit, it keeps her interested.  you can see the shelf in this picture, on the left hand side.  there’s a file drawer underneath and the shelf is a ledge right above.  you can also see my attractive computer desk-proofing thru my copious use of NIC cubes.  lol…

so Mead is out and doing her thing.  for some reason she’s been an attention hog all morning.  she runs for five minutes, comes back, tugs on my pants for pets.  runs some more.  i go to the kitchen to get a refill on my coffee and i hear this huge crash.  Michael’s playing in his room, so i know it’s not him.  i go in the living room and Meadow had found the toy box and there was a willow twig sticking out over the side.  my best guess is she pulled on the twig (if she stands up on her hind legs she can just reach the box) and it brought the whole box to the ground.  she didn’t even seem phased.  fortunately everything in there was very light or else we could’ve had a problem.  i looked at her and she was just chewing on this stick as if nothing happened.

and… just now as i was typing this thread i heard another loud boom, and then scuffle scuffle scuffle…  Meadow jumped onto the end table (from the couch) knocked over the three remotes up there, got scared and tried to jump off but her feet kept slipping (scuffle scuffle scuffle…)

silly bunnies.  what would we do without them?

meadow is such a sweetie pie… correction… a mischievous sweetie pie

thats a cute story.  lol.  i heard somewhere that bunnies do binkies for binky bunny products (hmmm… now where could i have heard that?)  and now we know they also help themselves to the products!  make sure you never leave your visa laying out.  mead would be online racking up a willow tab

yes she would!  FedEx would end up delivering a refrigerator size box weighing only 20 pounds (filled with lightweight willow… lol!)

BINKYBUNNY!!!!!  if there is ever an order placed to my house for over a thousand bucks worth of willow… IT IS BUNNY CREDIT CARD FRAUD!!!!!

aaahhh, another cute trick is to eat all the buttons off the remote controls. You have to have a pencil to poke the numbers to change channels on every tv in the house!

OMG My boyfriend bought this remote control, it’s a universal and has some special features where you just hold the original remote up and press one button while pressing one on the new one to program…. ….Ok even I’m getting confused…Anyways It was a very good remote, very expensive and Kokanee just destroyed it last week!! I mean it’s fine (with me anyways) if you can’t see exactly what the button says, but some of them are eaten down so low that you can’t even press them (currently have tools to press those buttons)……*sigh*
So needless to say I am having to replace this remote EVEN though it shouldn’t have been left where the bunnies could get to it!!!

speaking of remote control buttons… i think my rabbit hair brush is made out of similar stuf.  i left the brush on baby’s floor so she could get used to it since every time i touched her with it she ran away.  for some reason i thought if the smell became familiar to her she’d object less.  anyways… here’s a pic of the brush after one day on the floor.  notice how only 3 tips are left un-nibbled.  goof.  and by goof, i mean myself for leaving it out for her.  have i learned nothing about rabbits yet?  lol.

on your guy’s remotes… is the big on/off power button the first to always get chewed?  we lost that one within a week of having Meadow… lol.

Yes, and for some reason she gets ALL the number buttons!?!? on all our remotes!

                          Mmmmm…numbers! Yummy! ^^
I don’t need my bunnies to destroy the remotes, I have teenagers. *_*

I had the same thing happen to the love glove I used for Mimzy’s grooming. Set it down for a moment to see if he’d like to sniff it before it launched it’s attack, next thing I knew, he was attacking it! Lost a few little nubs and lost a little peace of mind worrying that they would block his GI tract. >.<

I also had to remove the little plastic whiskers from the stunt bunny. First off, they were kinda sharp and I feared the buns would poke their eyes with them while playing with the bunny…then Pip scared the life out of me by eating one halfway down…so…snip-snip! (She’s gnawed quite a few bites out of her habitat and food bowls as well.)

Are they rabbits or are they goats?? Between plastic things, cardboard and fabric…. Watch your tin cans, everyone! 0.o

babybunsmum – That’s so funny about that brush!  Edson hates it too.  It really doesn’t do that much – yeah some hair comes out but I can’t get underneath him with it, can you?  It certainly does not brush around the legs.  Drives me crazy cuz Edson will not let me near his underside.  He gets all shakey.
