My female bunny Lupe is 7.5 years old (spayed when she was little). She hasn’t slowed down too much, although I think she snoozes a little more than when she was a whippersnapper. She still gets the binkies and zips around the apartment, hops up on the furniture, and likes to explore and play. She’s in great shape physically. The only outward sign that she is getting older is gray hair around her mouth. I have noticed over the last couple weeks that she has been leaving poops (dry poops, not cecotropes) around. This never used to happen. It’s only ever 3-5 poops at a time and not always in the same place-just wherever she was sitting. She still uses her litter box for the most part so it’s not a big deal. I’m wondering if this could be an age thing? Maybe it’s not as easy for her to “hold” it when she’s out in the house? Just curious if anybody else has observed changes like this in their older bunny.
