  I have been upgrading my design skills at home, and one project I thought of that would help me practice would be to create a 12 month calendar featuring bunnies. The best way to get photos for it might be to have a contest for photos of our bunnies to be in the calendar. But designing, while time consuming and a steep learning curve for me, would be nothing compared to the cost of having one printed and sold.
  
  So, I am doing a little survey to see if you guys would be interested in my attempting a project like this. As some of you know, I am job hunting, so it may not be feasible at this time financially. But if it were, I would have an idea if there is even interest in participating or buying one. (If I did this, it would probably be an item in BB’s store. We can’t sell things on the Forums as you know. Do NOT confuse this post for a place to order!)
  
  I think I would run a contest for entries with a start and end date. The winners would be required to send in their photos at a good resolution (300dpi) and written permission to use the image in the calendar. I wouldn’t be able to pay anyone for the use, but I could give the bunny owner one free calendar as a prize for being in it.
  
  I am leaning heavily toward designing a “Dateless” calendar, where the month is named on the page, but the dates below the days of the week are blank. You write in the date yourself. That means it can be used during any year, not just whatever year I make it. It can be sold for several years in a row that way without leftovers from a previous year. It’s still a pretty design without the numbers.
  
  So, here’s a survey asking all the questions I think I want to know. I chose the survey option where you can select more than one line to check. Thanks for your input! – RabbitPam

  This sounds like fun, Spencer says he’s gonna start working out so he can fit into a speedo and try to be Mr July. Kate says she thinks the only calendar worthile is one dedicated entirely to her, but well, she’s quite a diva. And I say I would love a bunny calendar on my fridge! Right now it’s puppies, but I was planning on next year to be bunnies.

  It could be a fun option to have the bunnies who enter say if they are competing for a specific month. Don’t want to limit it, though.
  
  (Santa Baby….la la la la la la la la) Otherwise all the bonded pairs will want to be February and June!

  I made a 2011 calendar featuring Cheddar, Poopy, and Meatball throughout the entire calendar. I gave it out to family and friends. There are like 4 people at work with my bunny calendar up in their cubes and countless other friends that have the calendar up elsewhere. It’s pretty funny.

  Every year for my kitchen calendar I buy one online called “Rabbit Rescue” and it features rescued rabbits’ photos with their stories and offers bunny care tips. I like it because some of the proceeds go to rescued rabbits.

  I thought of that, but frankly in my situation I couldn’t afford it and be cost effective. The best I could do would be to sell it through BB’s store, so she would benefit by it, thus benefiting this site by helping her with sales.
  
  Was considering adding text with bunny advice in it, too.

  I think adding bunny tips each month would be great. Another fun idea might be to add a little text about a particular rescue each month (BB members could nominate their local rescue). It would be fun to see a little blurb about local rescues with a link to their site. Just a thought though!

  ABSOLUTLY!!! I would lovee one! fuzzys chargn my camera, he says he wants to be on the cover! HHEHE, you know what you should do though. All the buns that are going to be in this calender, should be on the front page I think it would be awsome!!! I would buy tons especially if my bun was inthere, id give them as gifts, and to people for the secret santa and lovebox on bunspace!

  I would definitely be interested in one, what a cute idea!!! Marvin thinks hes got the modeling pose down now, so hes all ready! I would buy it anyways though if it supported BinkyBunny and had bunnies in it! I would definitley get some! It would also be really cute to have the bunnie’s name under the picture with a little description of it! Aww, this is such a cute idea…
