I was watching my rabbit run around when I suddenly noticed that there was this piece of fur attached underneath him. I manged to get it off today, but it’s just some fur.

My bunny Bindi gets mats of fur like that. Does your bun have medium to long fur? Those mats can happen under the tail area sometimes. I think it’s just from cecals getting caught up in the fur. Nothing to worry about as long as it’s not happening on a daily basis and there are not large amounts of wet poo/cecals. Sometimes Bindi will pull the mats off himself and I find them in his condo, other times, I need to trim them off with a pair of puppy trimmers.
