  I got my new shop vac today hurrah I just had to try it out and it sucks up rugs tooo I just luv how that hay jsut dissapears

  Wait until you go to empty it for the first time. I literally had a 2 foot diameter nest made from hay and bun fur.

  Did you get the handle with the openable vent? It makes it so that you can suck up stuff off of loose stuff too, or if the rugs get stuck, you can just open the vent wide and it will drop them. I have to have that otherwise shopvaccing can be horribly irritating.

  do you guys have big ones? my mom and dad have one and it’s HUGE, it’s about the size of an outdoor garbage can in diameter, and about as tall. do they make them in smaller sizes?

  they do make them in smaller sizes. and the prices vary quite a bit too. i was wondering if the smaller / cheaper ones suck as good as the big ones. i’d love to get one of the smaller ones for hay.

  i’d make that purchase… definitely! if it were smaller and easier to store. my parent’s big one, the whole top pops off and you just dump out the inside.

  they make them in diff horsepower. 1 hp and 4.5 hp I got the 3 gal 4.5 hp works great. except for those stupid wheels I can’t get them to stay on when it goes over a hump off the wheels fall. maybe I need to take the thing off that holds the wheels on and do some adjusting then screw the thing back on. awe cotton is trying so hard to get thru to me. poor fellow. teh xpen just won’t budge.

  oh bb I dont’ think it has the vent I learned if I angle it just rigth the rugs don’t get sucked up. I sit down to use it on the girls houses.
